“Had a lovely stay here in October 24, Mitch is very friendly and gets to know his guests. The breakfast was lovely and don't think I've had parfait and a cooked breakfast before. The B&B is very cosy and quiet and nearby the Brodick ferry terminal.”

“A friend and I stayed here as we participated in the Ultra Tour of Arran. The welcome, hospitality and friendliness of Mitch and Tess was absolutely incredible! So incredibly generous and accommodating. An amazing breakfast served when we needed it and Mitch was kind enough to drive us down to the start line for the event both mornings. A quick 5 minute walk to the Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes to Brodick town. We loved our time on the Isle of Arran, and amongst the chaos and beauty of the UTA, the hospitality shown by Mitch and Tess was the cherry on top! Thank you so much for having us!”

“Tess & Mitch were fantastic hosts, the interaction felt instantly very personable from the initial phonecall to book; to arriving, breakfast etc. Great location a short 5 minute walk from the ferry port, with a truly authentic BnB vibe. They both were extremely approachable which is a testament to their personalities, a valuable source of information regarding cancelled ferry's and never felt there was anything I couldn't ask. Very clean and lovely room with perfectly large bath tub! Was a real highlight of our time on the island!”

“The Allandale House was a lovely place to stay. It was just a few minutes’ walk from the ferry, although walking uphill — the scenery is worth it. The host, Mitch, is a very lovely, accommodating and kind person. He catered to all requests with a smile and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The house itself had a warm and relaxing atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind at the end of the day . Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.”
